Woodland Operations Learning Foundation (WOLF)
2010 Course Calendar

From Why to How

Courses explain science, regulation and best practice.

Delivery and content is designed for forest corridor, site development and logging contractors, their employees and supervisors of all educational backgrounds.

Most courses are eligible for Continuing Competence Credit for Alberta Professional Forest Technologists and Foresters.

All courses are delivered where and when you want. On line courses are available.

Small classes of 10 to 20 people over six to eight hours are normal. Larger groups may be accommodated with concurrent and/or sequential sessions. Classroom exercises are included and field exercises are encouraged.

Competence is examined and certificates of completion are issued for satisfactory test results.

Standards meet or exceed CSA, FSC and SFI certification requirements.

Courses may be modified to meet local needs for time, regulation or other constraints, but this may affect certification outcomes and cost.

Instructors are trained experienced educators and subject matter experts.
