Forestry Lands Reclamation Certification Criteria
This course will appeal to contractors and consultants involved in reclamation assessment of decommissioned oil and gas facilities on forested lands, for the purposes of obtaining a Reclamation Certificate.
- The course focuses on completion of the Record of Observation for reclaimed sites in a forest environment
- To facilitate this, two screens will be used – one will show the RoO; the other will provide guidance on how to complete the RoO
This course does not provide instruction on methods of land reclamation.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course you will be able to:
- List the key criteria for reclamation on forested lands
- Identify reclamation requirements as related to the construction period
- List the key landscape parameters for assessing reclamation success on forested lands
- Identify the manner in which each parameter is assessed
- List the key vegetation parameters for assessing reclamation success on forested lands
- Identify the manner in which each parameter is assessed
- List the key soil parameters for assessing reclamation success on forested lands
- Identify the manner in which each parameter is assessed
